What was the highlight of AluaSoul Orotava Valley - Adults Only
A comfortable and relaxing stay
A comfortable and relaxing stay. I booked a suite with Teide view and was allocated a room on a lower floor and close to the road. Nothing wrong with the room itself but I was given the option to upgrade (for a fee) for a room on the other side of the hotel with a mega view over the city and sea. The bed was comfortable, amazing shower and comfy sofa with two enormous TVs. Breakfast was good.
You can get the ‘vibe’ of a place by how generous it is… simple things like there were tea bags and coffee but no milk. There was a coffee machine in my room but no capsules… The staff were a bit brusque at times. The hotel is a climb up from the city, which means it is quiet and has great views but bear this in mind because it is a bit of a trek. There is a shuttle bus that runs a couple of times a day.

Best week of my life, will never forget.
The room was amazing. The pool and free breakfast were great too. Had the best week of my life.
One of the cleaning ladies walked in in the morning one time but I don't think she knew we were still in the room haha.
